Franglais Translation, founded by Ellie Rowe-Parratt, provides freelance translation services from French and Italian into English, as well as other specialist linguistic services.
After a gap year living in France, Ellie – a native English speaker – studied French and Italian at the University of Bristol, and graduated with honours. As part of her degree, she spent 6 months studying Translation at SSLMIT, part of the University of Bologna. She also spent 6 months working in Paris under the Leonardo programme.
She then went on to study an MA in Translation at the University of Exeter, and graduated with a Distinction.
Ellie is a member of the ITI, SFS, and the SIS.
While she does have specialities, Ellie can translate documents in any field – she has previously worked for Ferrero, John Downer Productions Ltd and ISTE, and has translated for the Cochrane Pregnancy and Childbirth Group, Act-Up Paris and World March for Peace.
